Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures is the 2009 reboot of American Greetings Strawberry Shortcake franchise, the third relaunching of the series produced by Moonscoop (Splash Entertainment as of Season 4), Cookie Jar Entertainment (now DHX Media Inc.), and the Shari Lewis Company. The cartoon was created by Chris Nee.
The cartoon aired on The Hub (now Discovery Family) in the US and Family Junior in Canada. It lasted from 2009 to 2015.
Series[]
A pilot had been created by Chris Nee in 2008, released with a toy of Strawberry Shortcake and her cat, Custard. The pilot is only 15 minutes long and is not considered an official part of the cartoon series, along with the movie "The Strawberry Shortcake Movie: Sky's the Limit". The cartoon came out a year later, season one had 26 episodes while seasons two through four had thirteen episodes each.
Storyline[]
The series takes place in Berry Bitty City, a small countryside location near Berry Big City that is maintained by various insect residents and the Berrykins, small creatures responsible for its creation.
Strawberry Shortcake and her friends learn many lessons in friendship and life through their everyday adventures.

Orange Blossom: A trusty friend of Strawberry's who's always there to lend a hand. She can be a little stubborn but she is very brave and up for new things. She runs Orange Mart.
Raspberry Torte: Strawberry's sweet and fashionable friend, Raspberry is your go-to girl for a new look or creative ideas as owner of the Fresh Fashions Boutique. She can be a little reserved but she does her berry best to help the others.

Cherry Jam: A pop superstar who was traveling to Berry Bitty City to meet Strawberry Shortcake, but after enjoying her temporary stay she decides to permanently make it her home. Cherry is talented and compassionate, and she enjoys giving music lessons at her tour bus.
Huckleberry Pie: A puppy caregiver who was passing by the City when the puppies he was transporting escaped and his van broke down, forcing him to hang out until both issues could be resolved. Like Cherry he decides to reside here and quickly befriends the girls while teaching the dogs.
Sweet Grapes and Sour Grapes: A pair of traveling twins who run a food bus. Much like Huckleberry, their vehicle troubles cause them to land in Berry Bitty City and they ultimately come to the decision to stay there to work on their cooperation skills and serve new customers.
