Berrykin Bruce

Berrykin Bruce is one of the Berrykins featured in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures. He is a Berrykin worker who lives in Berry Bitty City. He is the boss of the Berrykin mechanics.

Berrykin Bruce makes his first appearance in "Top Talent", when he and his crew check what is wrong with Cherry Jam's tour bus.

Berrykin Bruce is voiced by Sam Vincent, who also voices Berrykin Earl.

Personality

Berrykin Bruce specializes in mechanism engineering. Whenever a machine or any mechanical object requires installing or fixing, Berrykin Bruce and his crew immediately arrive to work.

Berrykin Bruce has a talent for inventing complex apparatuses:

• In "The Berry Long Winter" he builds a snow making machine.
• In "On Ice" he makes a mechanism of water show.
• In "On the Road" he builds a "Slinking Slinker Snatcher" trap. The trap works well, though it catches the Berry girls instead of the imaginary Slinking Slinker.

Appearance

Berrykin Bruce is a "blueberry Berrykin", having a blue themed head with big green eyes. He wears a yellow coverall, yellow gloves and a yellow cap with a sticker of blueberry. Like most of Berrykin mechanics, his face and clothes are stained.

Trivia

• Berrykin Bruce appears occasionally in seasons 2 and 3. In Season 4 he appears in two episodes only: "Berry Bitty Adventurer" and "The Berry Bitty Dance Disaster".
• Unlike the other Berrykin mechanics, he wears a hard hat very rarely.
• He is the captain of the Berry Bitty Bombers, the Berryball team of Berry Bitty City.
• Sometimes he works alone, and sometimes he is accompanied by several Berrykins or a whole crew ("The Berry Big Relay Race"), depending how complicated the task to perform is. Among his crew are:

  • Unnamed purple Berrykin ("Top Talent")

Goofs

• In three of the four season 3 episodes Berrykin Bruce appears in ("Partners in Crime", "The Berry Big Relay Race", and "A Basket of Blue Berries"), his color is green. Only in "The Berry Scary Fun Adventure" his color is blue, consistently with his appearance in Seasons 2 and 4.
